Ralf hatches from his egg and is very curious about the world. Since he can't fly yet, he sits in his nest and watches his feet to see if he has grown. Then the little bumblebee Tülay lands on his toe. She convinces him not to wait in the nest until he is big, because that is much too boring. Ralf and Tülay find a basket of cherries and experience their first adventure. Together they actually persuade the ravens of the birch forest to go on a hike and find a way for Ralf to fly with his dad. And... no one gets "bitten".
